We are death metal band formed in Damascus, Syria in 2015 and now based in Germany. Our music is a defiant response to the
horrors of the Syrian war, a distinct extreme Syrian death metal identity.
We now have finished by Syrian mythology, due out on the 25th of August, 2021, entitled “A lip to earth, A lip to heaven And A tounge to the stars”.

What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music.

Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10
